Fogging February Fishing
Warming water conditions have been dampered by several cold fronts, but bottom fishing offshore is still producing great catches. Baitfish are thick over nearshore hard bottom which is a great sign for spring fishing conditions and kingfish and cobia showing up very soon!
We had several days of extreme fog that never lifted even 35miles offshore. The Yellowfin is outfitted with powerfull 12kw radar which allows to mark boats, bouys, markers, and even birds for miles around the boat. Slow and steady with a constant sharp lookout and continual radar use let us fish these fogging days and return safe . . . which unfortunaley more than other local boats could say .... www.wtsp.com/picture-gallery/news/local/2015/02/23/boat-crashes-into-sunset-grill-at-little-harbor/23905679/ Stay safe out there. . . .
