Cooling Water = Exceptional Fall Fishing
Fall fishing busted lose this week and all trips were treated
with trophey fish and exciting action. It is prime fishing time, and I hope you call us about getting a great trip together. Shorter runs offshore and 1/2 day trips are yielding quality fish. Cooling water temps aided by about a week of winds from the north, Northeast, then east had us dialed into and catching a parade of fish migratory south with the cooling water temps and winds. The water temperature dropped 5 degrees in a week in some offshore spots and triggered great action and resulted in large smoker king fish, above average gag grouper bite, and even 30# offshore redfish action. Cobia, triple tail, spanish macks, and offshore jacks were also in the mix.
Every trip last week clients said "that is the largest (insert fish type) I've ever caught!" That is what I try for every trip, actually, I try for one bigger than I have ever seen caught, not just my customers.
Southern wind and rain from reminants of Mexican Hurricane Patricia will pass next couple of days and Offshore fishing will again be great later this week Great fall fishing has just begun and I look foward to putting you on quality fish.
